Big 5 Game Lodge within the Waterberg Region is looking for a field guide to Deliver intimate, high-quality safari experiences and exceptional hospitality. Key Responsibilities Guided Safaris: Conduct professional Big Five game drives and bush walks. Guest Hosting: Provide personalized service for a maximum of 10 guests. Safety Management: Ensure strict adherence to reserve safety regulations. Maintenance: Care for game viewing vehicles, lodge equipment, and guiding gear. Requirements What We Look For Qualifications: NQF2 or 4 Registration: Valid DEAT/CATHSSETA registration. Driving: Valid driver's licence with a professional driving permit (PrDP). Medical: Valid, current First Aid certificate. Firearms: Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) is highly advantageous. Attributes: Excellent communication skills, strong hospitality focus, and reliable work ethic. Benefits Remuneration & Roster Salary: R13,000 per month. Inclusions: On-site accommodation provided. Exclusions: Gratuities / tips are separate. Roster Cycle: 3 weeks on, 1 week off.
