WE ARE HIRING: HEAD GUIDE Are you an elite safari professional with a passion for wilderness conservation and five-star hospitality? The Lodge is seeking a visionary Head Guide to lead our world-class guiding team and deliver unforgettable, bespoke luxury experiences. Location: Luxury Lodge Environment Salary: R 40 000 - But Highly neg. for the right candidate WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Lead daily elite game drives, bush walks, and specialized safari activities. • Mentor, coach, and manage rosters for the guiding and tracking team. • Deliver five-star hospitality and expert wildlife interpretation to high-net-worth international guests. • Support reserve conservation initiatives and monitor environmental data. • Oversee the maintenance and safety of the safari vehicle fleet and field equipment. WHAT YOU NEED: • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate. • Qualifications: NQF4 + Full Trails Guide status. • Experience: 5+ years of guiding in a five-star luxury safari lodge. • Licences: Valid SA Driver’s Licence + PrDP. • Certifications: Valid ARH (Advanced Rifle Handling), Rifle Competency, and current First Aid. • Registration: Valid DEAT/NDT registration. • Skills: Expert knowledge of South African ecology, animal behavior, birding, and flora.
