Busy Restaurant in Sandton is looking for a Bartender. Duties: Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix and prepare ingredients for cocktails Plan and present bar menu Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations & ensure minimum losses Maintain standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all bar areas Check drinks presentations and temperature to make sure of its quality Ensure everything in the bar is set-up and ready for service, including the coffee stations and all machines Assist management in taking bar stock. Requirements: Grade 12 A formal qualification would be an advantage Preferably 3+ years previous experience as a Barman Passionate about the hospitality industry Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, written and verbal Strong customer service orientation with excellent people skills Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
