HEAD GUIDE ULTRA-LUXURY LODGE MADIKWE GAME RESERVE An extraordinary opportunity exists for an exceptional Head Guide to join a ultra-luxurious lodge situated Madikwe Game Reserve. We are seeking a highly skilled, deeply passionate professional who embodies excellence in guiding, guest experience, wilderness knowledge, and team leadership. Key Requirements Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Senior Guide / Head Guide in a high-end lodge environment. FGASA Level 2 or higher (or equivalent). Proven experience in guide training, staff development, mentoring, and assessments. Valid PDP, First Aid, and all relevant guiding certifications. Budgeting ability HR ability and experience. Excellent communication skills, strong guest engagement ability, and a polished, professional presence. Competent in vehicles, rifles, safety procedures, and high-level hospitality standards. Core Responsibilities Lead the guiding department and uphold the lodge’s luxury guest experience standards. Drive a culture of learning, professionalism, and continuous development within the guiding team. Conduct training sessions, field assessments, and skills development programmes. Deliver exceptional game drives, walks, birding excursions, interpretive experiences, and specialist activities. Oversee guiding logistics, vehicle readiness, equipment management, and safety protocols. Collaborate closely with lodge management on guest experience, conservation initiatives, and operational excellence. Maintain strong knowledge of regional wildlife trends, habitat management, migrations, and conservation practices.
