Source and procure food, beverages, consumables, and operational supplies. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers. Build and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors. Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment. Compare supplier quotations to secure the best value without compromising quality. Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and budgets. Resolve supplier issues, shortages, and delivery discrepancies. Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Store Managers to forecast purchasing requirements. Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports. Stay informed of market trends, product availability, and pricing changes. Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Buyer, preferably in the hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or food service industry. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Excellent knowledge of purchasing processes and inventory control. Experience sourcing food, beverages, and hospitality-related products. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and purchasing/inventory systems. Excellent planning, organisational, and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport. Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
