Private Game Reserve based close to Philippolis is looking for a Senior Photographic Guide to lead high-end safari game drives and walks, combining expert wildlife tracking and interpretation with specialized photography mentorship. You will assist guests with camera settings, lighting, and framing in the field, host visitors at a luxury lodge standard. Duties: Lead daily drives and walks, offering practical, on-the-spot advice for wildlife photography. Interact closely with guests during meals and lodge social events. Oversee daily camp operations, staff, and logistics when permanent managers are on leave. Provide deep insights into tracking, fauna, flora, birding, and local ecosystems. Maintain safari vehicles, firearms, and guiding gear to top standards. Requirements: Grade 12 At least 3 to 5 years working in a luxury safari lodge environment. FGASA Level 2 or higher, DEAT/NDT registration, and valid First Aid. Valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP) and Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH). Strong working knowledge of digital camera bodies, telephoto lenses, and optimal vehicle positioning for photographers.
