NOW HIRING | ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE MANAGER Lodge near Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal Permanent | Live-in Market Related Are you an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager with strong technical skills and a passion for working in a luxury safari environment? Our client is looking for an Assistant Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across the lodges, staff villages and reserve, ensuring the highest standards are maintained. KEY REQUIREMENTS 3–5 years' experience in maintenance management within a similar-sized operation Qualified/experienced in at least one of: • Electrical – single & three phase • Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Strong experience in: • Plumbing • Water treatment systems • Sewage treatment systems • Building & general maintenance Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors Strong budgeting, administration and supplier negotiation skills Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities Valid, unendorsed South African driver's licence Comfortable working in a remote, luxury safari environment THE ROLE You will oversee preventative and breakdown maintenance, projects, contractors, staff deployment, CAPEX projects, water and grey-water systems, sustainability initiatives and the overall maintenance function across the reserve.
