Wilcon is urgently recruiting an experienced Field Guide for a prestigious 5-star lodge in the North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and memorable safari experiences while ensuring the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all guests. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct professional and informative game drives • Provide guests with engaging information about wildlife, conservation and the surrounding environment • Ensure the safety and comfort of guests during all safari activities • Maintain high standards of guest service and professionalism • Conduct pre-drive inspections and ensure the game-viewing vehicle is clean and well maintained • Assist with hosting guests and other lodge duties when required • Follow all lodge, safety and conservation procedures Minimum Requirements: • FGASA Level 2 • Valid driver’s licence and PDP • Minimum of 2 years’ field-guiding experience in a 5-star lodge • Excellent communication and guest-relations skills • Strong knowledge of wildlife, conservation and the local environment • Professional appearance and conduct • Ability to work well as part of a team • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
