Guide: Kuzuko Private Game Reserve Kuzuko Private Game Reserve is a 14,500-hectare private Big Five game reserve with a Five-Star bush lodge in the Greater Addo area of the Eastern Cape. Kuzuko was established as a social enterprise with the aim of creating jobs in an area of high unemployment whilst also rewilding and restoring the land. Kuzuko is looking for a Junior or Senior guide to join our team. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA · Minimum FGSA Level 1 · Pr-DP · In date First Aid qualification · Fluent in English · Excellent knowledge of local flora and fauna · Strong people skills · Ability to work as part of a team · A positive working attitude · A passion for nature and sharing it with guests DESIRED CRITERIA · Experience working in a 5* setting · Trails Guide qualification · Strong understanding of relevant conservation issues · Experience working in conservation KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY · Twice daily game drives in a big 5 game reserve · Additional activities including nature walks, star gazing and SAN rock art at guest request · Check in and check out of guests · Assisting with staff transport as and when lodge requires · Hosting guests when game drive is not possible due to weather ABOUT THE ROLE · Salary dependent on experience · Live in position working 21 days on 7 days off · Accommodation and one meal a day included
