Luxury Lodge Receptionist – Eastern Cape Game Reserve Join an Exceptional Portfolio of Exclusive Lodges A prestigious Eastern Cape Game Reserve, home to an outstanding portfolio of luxury lodges, is seeking an exceptional Receptionist to join their guest-focused team. This is an opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who understands that the guest journey begins long before arrival and continues long after departure. We are looking for someone who is warm, engaging, detail-driven and committed to creating memorable guest experiences in a world-class lodge environment. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience in a luxury lodge, safari lodge, boutique hotel or high-end hospitality environment Strong experience in front office and reception duties A valid driver’s licence (essential) Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs A proactive, curious and caring approach towards guest welfare before, during and after their stay Strong communication skills with a polished and professional manner Ability to handle guest enquiries, reservations, arrivals, departures and general lodge administration Excellent attention to detail with a passion for service excellence The ability to work independently, use initiative and remain calm under pressure Key Responsibilities: Deliver a warm, personalised welcome and farewell experience for all guests Manage all reception and front office duties Assist with guest arrivals, departures, transfers and daily guest communication Maintain accurate guest information and ensure smooth operational flow Liaise with all lodge departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences Handle guest requests, feedback and special arrangements with professionalism Ensure guests feel valued, cared for and remembered throughout their journey Assist with general administrative tasks and lodge support when required What We Are Looking For: A hospitality professional who is: Naturally engaging and personable Passionate about luxury guest experiences Highly organised and reliable A strong communicator and team player Someone who takes ownership and genuinely cares about people This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of an exceptional lodge group where service standards, guest experience and genuine hospitality are at the heart of everything they do.
