🌊 COUPLE ROLE | Lodge Manager & Field Guide | Luxury Wetland Safari Lodge | Northern Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal Are you and your partner a perfect bush team? One runs the lodge, one manages the guiding team. Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a Lodge Manager & Head /Field Guide couple for an intimate 4-star lodge in the UNESCO World Heritage iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Lake St Lucia, KZN. This is not a Big Five lodge. Think boat safaris, beach safaris, extraordinary birding, coastal ecology and a wetland ecosystem like no other - with elephant, buffalo, hyena and leopard thrown in for good measure. ⚠️ Couples only - individual applications will not be considered ⚠️ Due to accommodation constraints, this position is not suitable for candidates with children. 📍 Location: iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Lake St Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal 💰 Lodge Manager: R20,000 - R30,000 per month (DOE) 💰 Field Guide: R15,000 - R20,000 per month (DOE) + personal tip box 🏠 Live-in: 1-bedroom cottage with open-plan lounge, kitchen and outdoor patio 🍽️ Meals on duty provided 🚀 Start: ASAP (willing to wait for the right couple) Lodge Manager Partner: ✅ Minimum 3 years' lodge management in a luxury lodge - essential ✅ Staff management, scheduling and HR experience ✅ Semper PMS or similar reservations experience - advantageous ✅ Strong guest hosting, bar service and liaison skills ✅ Stock takes, check-ins/outs, billing and admin ✅ Health, safety and sustainability compliance knowledge ✅ Valid South African driver's licence - essential ✅ Stable work history with traceable references Field Guide Partner: ✅ FGASA NQF4 (Level 2) minimum - essential ✅ Lead Trails Guide preferred (Apprentice Trails Guide required) ✅ NDT, First Aid, PrDP, Police Clearance - all essential ✅ Skippers Licence advantageous (will be expected to obtain) ✅ Minimum 3 years' guiding in a luxury lodge - essential ✅ Genuine passion for wetland, coastal, birding and botanical environments - essential ✅ Self-motivated with hosting and bar support ability Together you will: 🏨 Run seamless lodge operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences 🚤 Lead game drives, boat safaris, beach safaris and night drives 🐦 Tell the extraordinary story of one of Africa's most unique ecosystems 📌 If you do not receive feedback within 7 working days, kindly consider your application unsuccessful. #CoupleRole #LodgeManager #FieldGuide #iSimangaliso #LakeSLucia #KwaZuluNatal #WetlandSafari #KendrickRecruitment #NowHiring #CoupleInTheBush #BirdingGuide #BoatSafari
