THE OPPORTUNITY An exciting opportunity awaits NQF 2 Guides to join a stunning new private reserve and luxury lodge operation in the Eastern Cape. This is an opportunity to become part of a beautiful new reserve from an early stage, working within a professional luxury safari environment and developing your guiding career alongside an experienced team. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable young guides who have a genuine love for wildlife, conservation and delivering exceptional guest experiences. POSITION NQF 2 Field Guide Location: Eastern Cape, South Africa Environment: Luxury Private Reserve & Lodges KEY REQUIREMENTS Minimum NQF 2 Field Guide qualification Valid First Aid qualification Valid Driver’s Licence Good knowledge of South African fauna, flora and ecology Passionate about guiding, conservation and the natural environment Confident and professional when interacting with guests Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A strong willingness to learn and develop Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work as part of a close-knit lodge and guiding team Strong work ethic, initiative and common sense Previous luxury lodge experience would be advantageous 🐾 ADVANTAGEOUS Backup Trails Guide qualifications and experience will be highly advantageous. Candidates with an interest in developing further into specialist guiding and trails are encouraged to apply. LOCATION ADVANTAGE Preference may be given to candidates currently based in the Eastern Cape or Western Cape, particularly those who are familiar with the region and able to relocate to the reserve.
