Description Trails Guide & FOH Couple - Luxury Safari Lodge - Timbavati, Greater Kruger Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a passionate and complementary Trails Guide and Front of House couple for an intimate, well-regarded luxury safari lodge set within the Big Five Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, forming part of the Greater Kruger ecosystem near Hoedspruit, Limpopo. This is a close-knit, small team environment where both partners will play a meaningful role in delivering an exceptional guest experience - one in the field, one at the heart of the lodge's front of house operation. This role is open to couples only. Individual applications will not be considered. Minimum Requirements: Trails Guide Partner: FGASA NQF2 minimum - essential (NQF4 preferred) Lead Trails Guide qualification - essential (candidates near completion will be considered) Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) - essential Valid SAPS Firearm Competency - essential SASSETA registration - essential Valid First Aid certificate - essential Valid PrDP - essential NDT registration - essential Minimum 2 years' guiding experience in a Big Five luxury lodge environment Excellent guest engagement, hosting and communication skills Well-presented, professional and passionate about wildlife and the Lowveld ecosystem Stable work history with contactable references FOH Partner: Minimum 1 year's Front of House experience within a luxury lodge environment - essential Warm, professional and naturally guest-focused with a confident hosting presence Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with lodge reservations, check-ins, check-outs and guest administration Knowledge of lodge/PMS systems advantageous Able to assist across F&B, hosting and general guest-facing lodge operations Well-presented and adaptable Stable work history with contactable references Key Responsibilities: Trails Guide: Lead morning and evening game drives across the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve and Greater Kruger Conduct guided bush walks in line with qualifications and reserve protocols Deliver engaging, safe and personalised safari experiences for discerning guests Maintain vehicles, equipment and firearms to the required standard Ensure guest safety at all times during all activities FOH Partner: Manage guest check-ins, check-outs and all front desk operations Handle reservations, guest correspondence and pre-arrival communication Assist with hosting, F&B service and guest-facing lodge duties as required Maintain accurate guest records, preferences and special requests Liaise with all departments to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures Package: Combined Gross Salary: R24,000 to R26,000 per month (DOE) Live-in: Couple accommodation provided Meals on duty included Start date: ASAP Should you both feel you are the right fit for this role, please apply with both CVs, certified copies of all guide qualifications, contactable references and recent head and shoulders photos ASAP! π Please Note: If you do not receive feedback within 7 working days, kindly consider your application unsuccessful.
