NOW HIRING | Sous Chef Location: Maasai Mara, Kenya Permanent Live-in Position Are you a passionate Sous Chef with experience in luxury hospitality? This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious safari lodge in the heart of the Maasai Mara, working alongside a talented culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations. Lead and mentor the kitchen team while maintaining high culinary standards. Manage stock control, food ordering, budgeting, and FIFO procedures. Prepare exceptional meals while catering to dietary requirements. Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards. Monitor food quality, guest satisfaction, and kitchen costs. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role. • Luxury lodge or hospitality experience preferred. • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. • Knowledge of HACCP, food costing, stock control, and menu planning. • Passion for creating outstanding culinary experiences.
