Safari Lodge & Spa based in Magaliesburg is looking for a General Manager. The lodge caters to both the conferencing and leisure markets and operates alongside a more intimate Lodge. The General Manager will have overall responsibility for both lodge operations. Duties: Lead two established safari lodges Lead a team of ±120 people Drive growth, profitability & performance Shape the guest experience & lodge offering Make a visible impact and lead from the front Improve profitability, revenue & cost control Build a strong, engaged & accountable team Maintain exceptional operational & guest standards Drive innovation, new experiences & commercial opportunities Lead Reservations & Sales to grow occupancy and revenue Requirements: Grade 12 A formal hospitality qualification At least 5+ years’ hospitality experience Senior management experience in a lodge or similar GM experience required, exceptional Deputy GMs / Operations Managers will be considered Strong commercial, operational & leadership skills Understanding of Financials & Revenue Forecasting Decisive, resilient & solution-driven Creative & entrepreneurial Guest-focused & approachable Strong at developing people and driving accountability On offer: Competitive monthly salary Performance-linked profit share On-site accommodation Family accommodation can be arranged
