Minimum Requirements FGASA NQF Level 4 qualification (essential) Back-Up Trails Guide qualification Valid Lead Trails qualifications advantageous DEAT / NDT Registration Valid First Aid Certificate PDP and valid driver's licence ARH and Rifle Handling competency advantageous Excellent knowledge of the bushveld, ecology, birding and wildlife interpretation Previous experience within a luxury safari lodge environment Strong guest engagement and hosting skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Immaculate grooming and professional appearance Passion for conservation, wildlife and exceptional guest service Ability to work within a high-performing team while maintaining the highest standards Key Responsibilities Conduct exceptional game drives and walking safari experiences Deliver informative, engaging and memorable wildlife interpretations Ensure the highest standards of guest safety at all times Assist with lodge operations where required Maintain vehicles, equipment and guiding standards Contribute to conservation initiatives and environmental awareness Build meaningful guest relationships that exceed expectations Uphold the exceptional standards expected of a world-class luxury lodge The Ideal Candidate You are passionate about guiding, thrive in a luxury hospitality environment and understand that every guest interaction is an opportunity to create unforgettable memories.
